Former US President George W. Bush addressed protesters at a rally in Brussels calling for the European Union to list the Islamic Republic Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.
In a message to protesters attending the demonstration outside the European Commission headquarters, he said: “Our nations should confidently recognize that the IRGC, though it masquerades as a legitimate political entity, is a terrorist enterprise and a serial abuser of human rights.”
Iran International reports that an estimated 20,000 people attended the rally in the Belgian capital on Monday 20th February, with many Iranians travelling from across Europe to take part.
